Hello ! Thanks for coming this far
To tell a little more about me, I am a self-taught artist, mainly a painter, but also a digital and social creator. Alongside my practice, I study Art History at university which allows me to have great sources of inspiration and to know where painting comes from, in big terms, through the eras and societies.
I grew up with a pencil in my hand, and I have been painting for 6 years now following a preparatory year after high school which allowed me to have the revelation of painting; which I strongly hated before, claiming I had neither the patience nor the understanding of the creative process.
Originally from Toulouse, I did this preparation in the south and then entered the Fine Arts in Marseille. Two years after which I decided to continue my training in the capital, where I have lived today for 3 years.

Ma pratique
Je travaille sur la mémoire et le souvenir. Avec mes peintures et mes illustrations j'utilise la figure du corps pour retranscrire des souvenirs de scènes vécues, pour illustrer un état d'esprit ou traiter d'un sujet qui me parle et me tient à coeur. J'aime dépeindre mon engagement féministe et queer à travers des figures lesbiennes ou qui se veulent parfois neutres de part le manque d'atouts sexuels ou la présence des deux. De plus, avec l'utilisation de couleurs qui ne sont pas celles de la chair, souvent je ne représente donc aucune ethnies spécifiques; ne créant ainsi pas d'inégalités raciale entre mes protagonistes.
Ma pratique est guidée par mes émotions, c'est à travers l'art que je m'exprime et extériorise le trop plein de sensations. Régie par l'amour souvent, j'en explore les facettes; qu'elles soient douces ou plus sombres et douloureuses.
Lorsque je représente des personnes, le plus souvent elles sont inspirées de celles qu'il y a eu dans ma vie. Celles qui m'ont blessé et d'autres que je voudrais encore à mes cotés. Je créer ainsi des images utopiques d'amour où ces personnes continuent d'exister.
Aussi, vous retrouverez souvent la figure du personnage avec des cornes. Celle-ci est à la base comme une représentation divine au deux sexes, sans cheveux ni oreille, une forme de démon et d'allien.
Un personnage neutre à utiliser lorsque je veux dessiner sans représenter une personne specifique.
J'ai alors choisie d'en faire la représentation de mon art, comme une mascotte, une image universelle de mon art et une marque reconnaissable de mon identité visuelle.
Souvent je la mêle à des autoportraits ou j'ajoute seulement des cornes à mes protagonistes, la voyant comme une alter ego, et la personnification de tout ce que représente Polaire, son incarnation même et ses valeurs, celles que je prone et que je défends.
Je suis Polaire, et elle l'est à travers moi, nous sommes des identités résonnant de paire.
